FINDING YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE
Finding your purpose in life is the number one, fastest and best way to instantly increase your motivation in life. You find your purpose by discovering it is already within you. You discover or find your purpose in life by asking a simple but incredibly important question. What do I want? What do I want to do with my life? What is important to me in life? Is it finding my ideal partner or relationship, is it making a decision about my career that has been eating away at me for years or is it discovering how to be my true self so I can live my life the way I have always wanted to live my life, doing exactly what I have always wanted to do?
By answering this simple question, what do I want, with honestly and a real desire to find the truth, you can unlock the key to happiness in your life.
Having a crystal clear clarity of purpose in life that is infused with a burning desire to achieve it, is the key to happiness. Having a purpose in life that you have 100% belief in and a burning desire to accomplish, is like having your own personal roadmap for life that provides the fuel of momentum to live a life that defines who you are. It is the greatest gift that you can give yourself.
THE BEST WAY TO START
Sit down with a pen and note pad. Remove any and all distractions. Switch off your phone and relax into yourself. The best way to do this is to spend five minutes breathing from your stomach. Allow a sense of calmness to build within you. Don't get hung up on the process just focus on relaxing yourself physically.
Understand that your subconscious mind is approximately 1 million times more powerful than your conscious mind. Think about that. Which mind do you think would be better to use to answer this question? Pretty obvious isn't it? This is all about trusting yourself. You have all the answers to your life already inside you. The foundational key to answering all of life's questions is trusting ourselves or another way of saying this is having what we call Self-Esteem.
When we have Self- Esteem we automatically respect and feel good about ourselves, which allows us to trust our own decisions, especially when they involve medium to long term life impacting decisions.

Self-Esteem is a critical factor when it comes to trusting ourselves to make the correct decisions that are important to us in our lives. We have all the tools necessary at our disposal in order to develop this. Self-Esteem is a core element of two words that are at the core of Greek and Western philosophy.
When you are comfortable in your own skin, decision making becomes a process that can be formulated. Your subconscious mind speaks to you through your intuition.
Learn to listen.
DEVELOPING YOUR INTUITION OR GUT INSTINCT
Science has now proven that there is a connection between your gut and your brain called the 'Gut Brain Axis'. Hence the term that we have heard many times, 'Gut feeling'. Between 60%-80% of our Neural transmitters such as Dopamine and Serotonin are made in the gut. The thing is, it goes beyond this. This is just the physical aspect that until recently we knew nothing about.
What I am referring to is far more profound than this.

UNDERSTANDING HOW TO USE YOUR INTUITION
The most important word when it comes to learning how to listen to your intuition, is awareness.
Awareness of how you operate and function internally from an 'intuitive' point of view, is critical in your quest to understanding yourself. This understanding of how you operate and function, is the key to unlocking a life filled with meaning and direction. Let's be honest, that is what we are all striving for, a life filled with meaning and direction.
Using the language of emotions and feelings, is of paramount importance in understanding how to communicate with your intuition.
As Albert Einstein put it, "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift."
This is the real power that resides in you. Learning how to recognize the language of feelings and how to translate them into information that you can use in your daily life is an extremely powerful tool to learn, especially when it comes to making important life decisions.
"What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality." Plutarch – Ancient Greek Philosopher.
As the father of Epigenetics, Dr. Bruce Lipton explains, "Your life is a printout of your subconscious programming".
He also suggests that our subconscious can influence our gene expression. Our subconscious programming therefore has an enormous role and indeed key role in determining how we actually operate as human beings and as a consequence can dramatically influence our daily lives.
As Bob Proctor, the 'Mentor of Success' explains when discussing paradigms, "A Paradigm is a mental program that has almost exclusive control over our habitual behavior and almost all of our behavior is habitual." Where does our paradigm reside? In our subconscious.
As you think about this, you start to grasp the importance of understanding our subconscious mind and the impact that it has on our daily lives. Powerful stuff, isn't it?
It is also very exciting in its implications!
HOW THIS RELATES TO MOTIVATION
Self-Esteem, trust and the ability to make decisions regarding our purpose in life are all linked to motivation. The individual with the ability to make decisions by listening to and trusting themselves in order to live with intent and purpose, is usually clear thinking and motivated with daily goals.
HOW EXACTLY THIS WORKS IN REALITY
Remember we were sitting in our chair with our pen and paper? Well now we know a little more about how we function in respect of not only the power of our subconscious but also the importance of our subconscious mind in how it shapes and informs our journey through life.
As we sit there in our chair, we are in fact starting the process of mining our subconscious mind to find the answer to that all important question of finding our purpose in life.
The truth is, what we are really doing is accessing and 'discovering' our purpose that has always been there. Now all we are doing, is bringing it to the surface, into our conscious mind.
This is critical in order to be a fully functional and motivated person with meaning, direction and forward momentum in life. Everything else is a bonus!
All we are doing is tapping into the gift that is our intuitive mind as Einstein suggested.
GET COMFORTABLE AND LEARN TO TRUST YOURSELF
Think of all the times your intuition spoke to you. That feeling you had about that person. The day you felt that something was not right about a certain place or situation you found yourself in. That interview that made you feel very uncomfortable. That knowing that you cannot quite articulate that prevents you from committing to a person. We have all experienced this.
That feeling is the language of your subconscious mind, that is 1 million times more powerful than your conscious mind, speaking to you. This is your higher self talking to you.
Learn to Listen.
Form a relationship with yourself based on the principle of trust. Do you want to find your purpose in life? If you do, then this is the source of your answer.
The great Sufi poet Rumi asked the question "Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open?" Escape the restrictive confines of your conscious mind. Step forward into the sunshine of life through the door of your glorious subconscious mind. Learn to trust yourself and fall into the flow of energy that cascades like a waterfall to you and through you, which contains the answers to life.
YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE IS
You already know what your purpose in life is. You are simply looking for permission from yourself to make the decision to bring it into your conscious awareness. This is one of the reasons you are reading this now.
"Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else." Margaret Mead – American cultural anthropologist.
Those who live their lives in the darkness of ignorance about the true purpose of their life, are destined to tip toe through that life and walk quietly into the arms of death.
They will then look back at the life they have just lived and wish that they had actually lived it. Unfortunately, the mantra of the dying is "I wish". Don't be one of those people.
Find your purpose in life through daily peaceful contemplation. Use the pen and notepad to write down the first 3 things that flash into your mind, for 30 straight days and I promise you, that by the end of the month you will know exactly what your purpose in life is. Then make a decision to act on this guidance that is being presented to you.
By doing this, you are acknowledging your higher self and this will be the start of a beautiful relationship. The relationship with yourself.
You will then become the most motivated person you know, as you embrace your new found purpose to live your life with real intent and a renewed sense of freedom and direction.
In other words, a life you always wished you could live.
Enjoy your journey!
